Principle
We believe that God created man male and female after His own image. We affirm that God created Adam and Eve, the first human beings, equal before Him as persons, yet distinct as male and female. We further affirm that divinely ordained differences between men and women reflect God's original creation design, are not arbitrary, and are meant for human good and human flourishing.
Practical
As such, we believe in the upholding of Christ-like male rule according to the Biblical order and hold that God has created and endowed men uniquely with the gifts necessary for the offices of leadership, whether in the church, the family, or the civil sphere. Further, God has created and endowed women uniquely with the gifts necessary to love, honor, respect, and submit to proper leadership in those same spheres. We do not believe this is arbitrarily defined, but a recognition of the ways in which God made us — men to build, provide, and protect; and women to nurture, cultivate, multiply, and beautify.
