Our Distinctives

Every church and organization has aspects of who they are and what they do that are distinct to the culture they are aiming to build. We are no different at CTK. The things we believe inform the way we live and the ways we do what we do. In our Distinctives, we aim to name those things to protect us from losing focus on them as time passes and to give others a fair sense of who we are, why, and how we would see you be a part of it.

With that, you'll note that we have six cultural distinctives below, each beginning with a principle that underlies and supports that cultural characteristic, and ending with the ways this key principle comes to bear in our community and fellowship. We are not hearers only, but doers also, thus these principles must truly drive our practice if we are to be consistent and honest before God and man.
