Leadership

Christ the King is a Presbyterian church, meaning we are led by a plurality of Elders (the Session), supported by a group of Deacons (the Diaconate) to minister to the needs of the church.

As CTK is a recent church plant, we are currently in the process of adding to our local leadership. In the meantime, we work with pastors from two other local congregations for wisdom and accountability as the church is further established and solidified in her work.

Derrick Taylor

  • Teaching Elder

Derrick Taylor serves as the Teaching Elder at Christ the King Reformed Church, where his passion is to proclaim Christ through faithful preching, shepherding, and discipleship. His ministry is shaped by a deep love for Scripture and a desire to see God’s people grow in wisdom, holiness, and joyful obedience to the Lordship of Christ in every area of life. Derrick grew up in Woburn, and has lived in Groton since 2019 with his wonderful wife and six children. Together, they seek to build a home grounded in the gospel and dedicated to serving Christ’s kingdom.

Garrett Soucy

  • Pro Tem Elder

Garret Soucy is the pastor of Christ the King in Belfast, ME. He and his wife, Siiri, live in Liberty with their 11 children. Garrett was born and raised in Maine and ordained in 2011 when Christ the King was planted. In addition to pastoring, he is a writer and musician.

Kendall Lankford

  • Pro Tem Elder

Kendall has served as the Pastor of The Shepherd’s Church in Chelmsford since 2019. He is the husband of his best friend and beautiful bride Shannon; dad of six unique and vibrant kids; closet introvert; Duke Basketball lover; graphic design wanna be, nerd of the highest order; Puritan junkie; bookworm; photography and videography hobbyist; occasional artist and poet; sometimes guitar player and singer; never in a million years a dancer; and always passionate to see the preaching of God's Word bring revival to New England.

Worship With Us

We’ve been very blessed to be able to worship at the Prescott Community Center since September 2026. Our services are held in the Community Room (entrance in the rear of the building). There is ample parking behind the building or on Main Street.

Our services are open to all who are interested in learning more and desire to worship the Living God.
