Principle
We insist on being an optimistic people, believing that God has promised great victory for His Christ and His Church in the ministry of the gospel. We are not dour about the state of things, but convinced that the Lord is working good for all those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. In that, despite difficult circumstances that may come to pass, we continue in faith to labor for the building of His Kingdom in every sphere of life. We trust that He will bless and grow the work, on earth as it is in Heaven, and that the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
Practical
In this spirit of optimism, you will find that the ways in which we labor at Christ the King are multi-generational. We aim to build with our children's children in mind, meaning we want a culture that lasts, a church that lasts, institutions that last, and that, ultimately, conquer the world in the name of Christ. Because we believe God and His promises, we know that our labors will not be in vain and therefore, we are able to work with a joyful and hopeful expectation of God's blessing — strengthening our hands for the fight. And so, we are also a people who love to rejoice in the good graces of God by finding our weekly rest in Him on the Lord's Day and celebrating the occasions wherein God has given us great cause to feast to His honor and our delight.
